A "Family Workshop" was organized by the Iğdır Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, focusing on significant efforts to protect and strengthen families. This workshop aimed to contribute to identifying and solving social issues, protecting families, strengthening them, and enhancing social welfare.
The workshop was held at the Iğdır Provincial Gendarmerie Command Conference Hall and was attended by many participants. In his opening speech, Governor Ercan Turan emphasized that the family forms the core of society, saying, "I thank all participants for attending such an important workshop. Iğdır is special to us. Our main goal is for Iğdır to achieve a more qualified family structure. We will walk this path together with our utmost effort. I wish you all success in your work."
The Provincial Director of Family and Social Services, Selçuk Akgül, also highlighted that the workshop provides an essential platform for identifying problems, proposing solutions, and protecting and strengthening families.
Following the opening speeches, sessions were held with the participation of protocol members and representatives of non-governmental organizations. These sessions included topics such as "Family, Equality, and Justice," "Family, Social Development and Welfare," "Family, Lifelong Development and Learning," "Family, Climate and Environment," "Family, Technology and Digitalization," and "Family-Oriented Social Services." The participation of Dr. Fevzi Daş, Director of the Computer Sciences Application and Research Center, in this important workshop allowed him to share insights on how knowledge and technology can contribute to protecting and strengthening families.
